Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all purchase orders submitted to DUWE’s web shop on www.duwe.se (in the following referred to as the Webshop), covering all purchase agreements that a consumer enters into online with DUWE AB, hereinafter referred to as DUWE. These terms and conditions may be updated and vary from time to time.
ORDER
A binding purchase agreement is entered into as soon as your order has been confirmed by us and an order confirmation has been sent from DUWE to the e-mail address you submitted.
If an item happens to run out of stock before the status has been correctly updated on the Webshop, DUWE will notify you of this by e-mail. We may then cancel the order in question and refund your purchase
Discounted items are available as long as they do not run out of stock.
If incorrect price information has been shown on the Webshop you will be given the opportunity to either purchase the item at the correct price or cancel the order.
We may, at our discretion, choose not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever without any liability to you.
To place an order in the Webshop you must be at least 18 years old and not under guardianship.
PRICING POLICY AND CHARGES
All prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK) for orders that are shipped to Sweden.
Prices on DUWE’s global website are displayed in Euro (€). Please note that we currently only ship to customers in the EU and Norway.
All prices include country-specific Value Added Tax (VAT) and exclude shipping fees. The shipping fees will be added to the order in the checkout step.
Outside the European Union, customs fees or other taxes and charges may be added to the purchase price.
PAYMENT
Payment is possible in the currencies set out in the Webshop. Payment is currently made in Swedish kronor (SEK) for shipments to Sweden and Euro (€) for shipments within the European Union.
Payment can be carried out by credit or debit cards or PayPal.
CREDIT CARDS
The following credit cards are accepted by DUWE:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- American Express
DUWE reserves the right to check the cardholder’s address, the card’s validity, and that your account has the capacity to be charged with the full amount. DUWE reserves the right to decline a purchase.
We will not charge your credit card until the date we ship your order to you, however, the total order sum is reserved until your order is dispatched (may vary between banks). All orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping.
PAYPAL
Make fast and safe payments using PayPal. When using your registered PayPal account, your payment details are never shared with DUWE. PayPal takes the payment from your card once the order has been shipped from the warehouse. For more information, see www.paypal.com.
When choosing this payment method at checkout a standard credit check is made.
Please note that your shipping address has to be your registered residence.
DELIVERY TIME
Normally the time of delivery within Sweden is 2-5 business days (Mon-Fri) after DUWE has accepted and confirmed your order.
For international shipments, delivery times are usually within two weeks.
DELAY
Should your order be delayed you will receive a message of this, including a new suggested time of delivery, at the latest within 30 days after you submitted your order.
You may cancel the order if you do not accept the new suggested time of delivery.
If your order has been delayed, and the new suggested time of delivery has been accepted but the order has not yet been delivered within 15 working days after the new estimated time of delivery, you may always cancel the order by notifying our customer services team.
If such a delay should occur, whereby you choose to cancel the order, we will repay the prepaid amount to you. If the order has already been dispatched, you will have to return the ordered items in order to receive repayment. We will pay the cost of the return.
SHIPPING
DUWE ships to all countries within the EU and to Norway. For shipments to other countries please contact DUWE Customer Care.
All shipping costs will be specified in the purchase order so that the cost is clearly visible to you prior to completing the order.
DUWE uses PostNord for all shipments.
Free shipping within Sweden, € 8 for EU and € 12 for Norway.
TRANSPORT INSURANCE
All dispatched items are insured by DUWE.
Should you discover any damage to the package prior to opening it please report this to DUWE Customer Care at info@duwe.se and the postal agent where you collected the package, as soon as possible. Items that are damaged during transportation are replaced by DUWE free of charge.
If you have already opened the package when you notice the damage, please follow the return instructions below.
COLOURS
We cannot guarantee that the colours appearing in the Webshop reflect the clothes’ colours in reality. The colours can be reflected in different ways depending on for example your computer or phone screen, graphics card and the computer settings.
INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE
Occasionally there may be information in the Webshop that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Webshop is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
LINKS
www.duwe.se may contain links to other websites which do not fall under DUWE’s supervision. DUWE cannot accept any responsibility for the content or for the protection of privacy of these websites but provides these links in order to aid our customers to find further information.
RESPONSIBILITY
DUWE is not responsible for the technical equipment and software which is needed to use the webshop. During short periods of time, there may be maintenance disruptions etc. and DUWE is not responsible for any disturbances, disruptions or other problems that may occur in connection with this. DUWE cannot guarantee that the webshop at all times will be free from defects such as viruses or spam.
Neither may DUWE be held responsible for any misprints, and reserves itself against any errors in pictures and texts. DUWE’s liability for any claims (including indemnity) is under all circumstances, except for in cases arising out of willful conduct or gross negligence, limited to the amount equivalent to the price of the item (or items) which is/are the matter of dispute. DUWE is never liable for consequential damages.
FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure occurs when external circumstances substantially prevents the performance of an obligation under the agreement, for example, war, state intervention, strikes, staff’s illness, shipping disturbances, restrictions on energy supplies, bans, restrictions, declined permissions, import and export restrictions, natural disasters, accidents etc. which reasonably could not have been foreseen when entering into the agreement and which reasonably could not have been avoided or overcome. This applies both to DUWE and to DUWE’s sub-contractors.
In the event of force majeure, DUWE’s obligations are deferred. If the period of force majeure is not of a temporary nature, you as well as DUWE have the right to cancel the purchase agreement without any obligation to pay indemnity arising. Such measures are carried out by contacting DUWE’s Customer Care.
DISPUTES
If a dispute regarding these terms and conditions should arise, the consumer should contact DUWE’s Customer Care and try to resolve the disagreement as a first step. A dispute arising out of these terms and conditions shall be brought to the court in the place where the defendant resides.
The consumer may also, in accordance with the regulations in the Swedish Code of Judicial Procedure (1942:740) bring a suit to the court in the place where the consumer resides.
COPYRIGHT
The content of the webshop is copyright-protected and is the property of DUWE. All intellectual property rights to the content of the webshop belong to DUWE. It is allowed to download, print, copy and blog about the material on the webshop for your own personal purposes, however not for business purposes. This presumes that the material is not changed and that all intellectual property rights remain reserved DUWE. It is allowed to link to the webshop, but without using DUWE’s symbols or trademarks.
